through the 80's and 90's Hard Candys' bach and vlass self-financed all their cds as ape the cry and hard candy, and recorded them on their own indie record label, Loud Records. In the mid 90's, the indie scene began to die a slow death, so hard candy signed a publishing deal with a subsiduary of mushroom records in Australia to help with the costs of advertising. as 'live' venues closed all over Australia, hard candy too began to die a slow death, so to put the band members out of their misery, bach finally killed off hard candy, but not before they released 5 cds which they managed to get to many corners of the world with a little help from bootleggers. |
